Every Journey Starts With One Step

img_0039-1200x1200The saying goes that every journey begins with one step, which always makes this first step sound so manageable, simple even…  My first step, was choosing to do what makes me happy. As simple as that sounds… for me, it meant leaving my sexy Wall Street career, leaving the luxury  of my beautiful Manhattan apartment, saying farewell to my friends and family in New York and heading on the road for a year! Where I will go? Well, only that little voice inside my head (also known as my intuition) knows… My first step? Road Trip across from New York to California. Welcome to my new life!

This sounds crazy and I like crazy, leaving everything behind and going on the road for a year, yeah new life….can I join you? I love road trips, this will be more fun when you not traveling alone.

Hahaha it was crazy, but one of my best ideas!! Sometimes the craziest things are the most worthwhile!

Dee, I admire your passion for the road and your risk taking. We just have one life to live! We ought to live it to the fullest. “Sexy Wall Street career”, sounds like a huge thing you had to leave behind, but I’m pretty sure you’ve thought this out. More power to your plans! Looking forward to read a lot of more of your adventures. 🙂

It was a huge thing to do, but I have no regrets and I am so happy, I wouldn’t have it any other way!! thank you!! I look forward to having many more adventures to share!
