SPG: That’s the app that all Starwood Hotels & Resorts members will need (Like GlobalDeeTour’s Own Dee Ali), it’s sure to be a welcome addition to Apple Watch-wearing travelers. As you arrive at your hotel — say, a W Hotel — the SPG app will bring up your check-in and room information onto your watch. The app also serves as a virtual room key, letting you unlock your room from your Apple Watch.

Notables Food Apps..

Yelp: Yelp has become an indispensable tool for sussing out the best restaurants, coffee shops, bars and other establishments, and its Apple Watch app aims to make it easy to do the same thing from your wrist. Quick search options let you view restaurants, bars, coffee shops and hot spots in your current location. Each entry shows you the rating, number of reviews, the category of place (such as cuisine), how expensive it is and how far away it is from where you are. Tapping each entry gives you further info, including hours, map location and address and certain reviews.

Other Food Apps of Interest: The food delivery app Postmates has an Apple Watch version that sends you notifications about your delivery status and lets you rate and tip the service once an order arrives. And if you’ve got a hankering for a Chipotle burrito, the fast-food chain has an Apple Watch app that lets you order from your wrist.

Now with that being said, the Apple Watch only works as long as you have wifi or some internet connection.

Tip: Dee.Life-rs  you can beat the system. First get an unlocked iPhone or get your phone unlocked, when you to a country outside of the US get a sim card and you will be connected. (They may not want to tell you this)
