My trips to A-town are not complete without at least one of these!
Poor Calvin’s – a restaurant that serves my favorite lobster fried rice to date! I mean, a mouth watering, creative, edible work of culinary art! It makes me wish I had a bigger stomach haha
Atlanta Aquarium – This aquarium is both beautiful and expansive, with a visitor friendly layout, and great and knowledgeable staff makes this a fun experience.
The only slight disappointment, was the removal of many of the interactive exhibits. These exhibits allowed guests to interact with some of the inhabitants such as touching stingrays, small sharks etc…
However, there still are opportunities to touch star fish, anemones and snails but majority of the other interactive exhibits are removed and that area is currently under reconstruction so I guess I will just have to go back and see if the changes are an improvement or downgrade.
Mary Mac’s Tea Room – Unfortunately, I didn’t get around to eating here on this trip, but I have in the past and it is a great restaurant for southern food! I loved it so I had to add it in here for y’all to go try it out! Sorry I had to pull an picture out of the personal Archives (aka InstaGram) for this one haha
Desta Ethiopian Kitchen : For those of you, a little more adventurous on the cuisine spectrum… I’d definitely check this place out. Even though I didn’t visit it on this trip doesn’t mean you shouldn’t because it’s typically one of my go-to dinner spots! Now I typically feel like posting food pics with half eaten food is a little rude lol BUT I mean, I just had to show you I did indeed chow down at this local spot.
Well my dear readers, it’s time for this girl to head out…. look back soon to see where I drive off to next 🙂
